We pride ourselves on how we are healthy, clean, safe, secure, and entertaining.  We think you will like it too!

Rochester Play is Rochester, Michigan's unique family entertainment, children's play, party, cafe, and ACTIVITY destination.

Updated Communication #2 to our Rochester Play! Guests:

To continue following the lead of our governing authorities in the battle with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all Rochester Play! activities are are on hold at this time.  We will continue to monitor the situation and look forward to the time when we can again open up for you play, party, and cafe visits.

Updated Communication #1 to our Rochester Play! Guests:

Following the lead of the State of Michigan and in our continued support of Governor Whitmer’s decision to close all K-12 public and private schools and reduce large public gatherings in an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, effective March 14, 2020, we are temporarily closing our open play entry to the public.

We will, however, continue to offer and host parties, which will be conducted in a private like setting without any open play guest entrance.  All current and new party reservations for parties hosted during our public open play closure will have use of the entire play center as if they were holding our standard “private party” event. If you have a party or event booked and you would like to move the date, we would be happy to accommodate any change of plans and have increased the rescheduling policy option from 90 to 180 days (now you can celebrate a “half” birthday!).

For new party reservations, party questions, or party detail confirmations, please contact us at 248-650-PLAY (7529).  For other information, you can also contact us at: info@rochesterplay.com.

We appreciate your continued support during this unprecedented time, and look forward to the near future when we can once again return to our normal schedule of operations.

To Our Rochester Play! Guests,

With the continued interests of all our guests, team members, and families in mind, we want to reassure our community that, as you, we are actively monitoring the novel Coronavirus situation to ensure the continued health and safety of our families and all who visit our location.

We want to personally share with you the added precautions we are taking to ensure a clean and sanitary environment. We have increased our cleaning and sanitizing procedures and continue to monitor and follow the Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection Recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Interim Recommendations for COVID-19 Community Mitigation Strategies, and the Oakland County Health Department.

In addition to our standard cleaning and sanitizing practices you appreciate us for, we want you to be aware of our specific changes we are also implementing:

  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of the play area, cafe area, gaming area, and restrooms. Please pardon any interruption as we attend to this additional schedule during your visit.
  • We now require all guests to use hand sanitizer, that we will assist in applying, upon entry prior to check in. If you are uncomfortable with this, we apologize, but you will not be allowed to enter for the safety and comfort of our other guests and team members.
  • We continue to have and service our hand sanitizing stations conveniently found throughout our play and cafe areas.
  • We ask that all guests wash their hands frequently during their visits for at least 20 seconds (time it takes to sing Happy Birthday or the ABC’s twice), as the CDC and MDHSS recommends.
  • If you have a party or event booked and you would like to move the date, we would be happy to accommodate any change of plans and have increased the rescheduling policy option from 90 to 180 days (now you can plan to celebrate a “half” birthday!).
  • We are asking that anyone having any cold or illness symptoms to stay at home. We will require any guest exhibiting any symptoms of illness while in our facility to leave, and return when they are symptom free.

This is a unique and challenging time for our community, the nation, and the world as we respond to novel coronavirus and the uncertainty surrounding it. We will do our best to stay on top of this quickly evolving situation and communicate with you regularly and fully as conditions change. We are grateful to all of you for your understanding and flexibility. Thank you for helping us and our community be the best we can to navigate these unfamiliar times.
